I Still feel new to the Triangle Area
So, I've lived here a year, and still don't feel settled in. Would that have to do with a husband who is gun shy to buy a house? We were suppose to rent for 3 months, and here it is over a year, and we are still renting! He is thinking we made a mistake moving here, but I want to settle in.
Background: I grew up in Syracuse NY, lived in Los Angeles to cut the apron strings and then moved to the Boston area to give me the climates again. We moved to NC last year because my husband has always wanted to live in the south.
Looking forward to finding my way around this forum!

Well - welcome to the Web site and the Triangle. First off - I think I should start up a forum just for Syracuse natives because there are so many of us on this board. (I grew up in Caz).
Thanks so much for introducing yourself and I'm sure some of us could list all the reasons why you guys should stick around here if you need some help convincing your husband!
