maternity clothes re-sale shops

Hi everyone! We are done with new babies in the house (last one just turned 13 months!) and I have plenty of maternity clothes to sell. I realize some of the outfits may be outdated (oldest was born 8 years ago), but I think some of the items are in great shape, and someone would love to have them! I have worked through all 3 of my pregnancies, and appropriate maternity work clothes can be hard to find at a fair price. Have I got a deal for you! :)

Does anyone have any recommendations on maternity re-sale shops where I will get a decent return? I know the idea is for the shop to pay you much less than what they are going to sell them for, but I want it to be worth my while. I've not done the CraigsList thing, but I suppose that could be an option as well.

Any thoughts?

Have a super day everyone!

Some of the consignment sales take maternity clothes and while they take a cut you can set your price. That might be worth looking into and there are a bunch coming up (I'm about to get a post on all the ones coming up in the next couple of days, but I'm sure some readers can help out too).

And of course you can always offer your stuff here on Mom2Mom.

I'd love to see what you have. I wear a size small now. I'm about 3 months now and have been to various consignment shops with some luck. But, if you have stuff that I may be interested in, please let me know.

One consignment shop that does the exact thing mentioned in the previous post is Around Again Consignment Shop on E Millbrook Road in Raleigh. Are you familiar with it?

I regularly wear a size 12, so i'm pretty sure these clothes would swallow you up!

I definitely know Around Again- but didn't realize they did maternity clothes as well.

 Thanks!

Try a new online shop owned by some Raleigh moms...Belly Bundles. They even carry some "new with tags" pieces from area boutiques.

You could bundle up some "lots" and sell them on ebay!
