HI.. I am not only new to the Triangle, but new to NC. My husband, son and I moved here (Cary) in March from the San Francisco Bay Area in California. We came here for a better quality of life. We wanted to own a house AND have a social life at the same time. Not always possibly in the SF Bay. We are enjoying the friendly people and the shorter commute! My brother lives in Winston-Salem and has been trying to lure us here for a long time. I always said I couldn't live where there wasn't a Trader Joe's. So when it opened last year, we had no more excuses! I am a stay-at-home mom to 6-year-old Max who is developmentally delayed. He will attend Farmington Woods Elementary in Cary this year. I work part time from home as a technical editor.
