Sex on TV

The Parent Television Council says there's not enough sex on TV - at least the married kind. Scenes depicting or implying non-marital sex outnumbered scenes showing marital sex by 4 to 1, according to its report Happily Never After. The group was formed by conservative activitist L. Brent Bozell III.

So my TV watching is pretty much stuck on The Office, Anthony Bourdain, House and What Not to Wear. Apparently I'm missing quite a bit.

Do you agree? Is this a problem?

I personally think that there is TOO MUCH sex on TV. Sometimes I just want to watch a good show with a good story line without having to see heavy breathing and juicy lip locks! I mean, come on! Can't TV writers come up with anything better than constantly bombarding us with these images? I watch "I Love Lucy" sometimes and it 's just so clean and SO funny. I guess script writers and actors were more talented back then, or they were more confident that not EVERYTHING in life HAD to be about sex ALL the time. It gets tiring after a while. :)

I like The Office, too.....hysterical show.
