This is the City of Raleigh's summer concert series at Fletcher Park off Glenwood Avenue inside Raleigh's Beltline.

Lots of families come with picnic dinners to listen to the music and let the kids run wild.

June 22: Raleigh Concert Band

June 29: 440th Army Band

July 6: Same Old Strangers (accoustic set of covers and originals that blend rock, jazz and honky-tonk)

July 13: Raleigh Concert Band

July 20: Jason Adamo (soul and rock)

July 27: Sandbox Band. This is a don't miss concert. The Raleigh kids band is a lot of fun and will be celebrating the release of its second CD at the concert.

Aug. 3: Children of the Horn (an instrumental ensemble)

Aug. 10: Midlife Crisis Band (blues, classic rock, oldies)

Aug. 17: Grant Haze (acoustic guitar based on folk/soul/rock)

Aug. 24: Raleigh Concert Band

Aug. 31: Filmore Valley Boys (traditional and contemporary folk and bluegrass)
